You have the chance to win between $100 and $500 in the ‘Green Planet’ design contest. Time to get inspired!
The last design contest of the year revolves around our planet. It’s actually known as the ‘Blue Planet’ because most of our Earth is covered by oceans. ‘Green Planet’ is your chance to tackle the environmental or conservation themes closest to your heart. Here are a few ideas for designs that fit the contest theme.
Choose a theme
Hardly any other topic has been as prominent in politics and the media this year as climate change. The Fridays For Future movement has made certain environmental slogans like ‘There Is No Planet B’ part of the vernacular. Designs showing a burning or melting planet Earth have also become famous through the Friday marches.
For your design, you can think of your own slogan or get inspired by others. You could check out photos from Fridays for Future or Extinction Rebellion protests and get your ideas from protest signs. Or simply draw something related to the environment.
Whether you go for an illustration or statement, you’ll have to get creative if you want a good chance at winning the prize money. Don’t be tempted to publish yet another design with the slogan ‘There Is No Planet B’— you won’t stand out from the crowd.
Here are some topics to start your brainstorming:
- Climate change and how to stop it
- Environmental protection and sustainability
- Protection of oceans or rainforests
- Conscious consumption
- CO2 reduction
- Living plastic-free
- Animal welfare
- Vegan or vegetarianism
We also created a Pinterest board where you can get visual inspiration.
In the contest, we also evaluate whether your design and the product you publish it on are a good match. So when it comes to the ‘Green Planet’ theme, it makes sense to publish your design on an organic product.
